Lawrence Snider, DDS

Lawrence A. Snider, DDS was born and raised in Silver Spring, MD. He graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in 1970 and went on to complete his Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Snider began his dental studies at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore, and received his Certificate in Periodontics from Henry M. Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry in Boston in 1980.

Straight out of graduate school, Dr. Snider opened up his own private practice in McLean, VA where he practiced dentistry for over 40 years.

Dr. Snider is committed to keeping up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies relating to his specialty of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He regularly attends local and national seminars and workshops as part of his continuing education. Dr. Snider prides himself on providing his professional services in the most conservative, creative, predictable, and economic way possible to offer each patient the right treatment plan for them to give them the best dental function, comfort, and esthetics.

Dr. Snider resides in the suburbs of Montgomery County with his wife of over 30 years, Janet. They are the proud parents of Lisa Rachel and Gabriel Louis, whom both live in Northwest Washington. Dr. Snider and his family enjoy year-round travel, particularly to the stunning National Parks in the U.S. as well as exploring the outdoors in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Costa Rica. He also loves reading, growing flowers, biking, hiking, walking, and also visiting museums.
