Meet Dr. LaVecchia

Retired Dentist and Original Founder
Dr. Louis LaVecchia has lived in Northern Virginia with his wife and family for more than 40 years. In addition to his son, Dr. Greg LaVecchia, he has two daughters and eight grandchildren who occupy most of his free time.
After completing a tour of duty in the Vietnam War, Dr. Louis LaVecchia returned in 1971 to open his private dental practice in Northern Virginia. At that time he was also offered an appointment to the full-time faculty at Georgetown University in the Department of Operative Dentistry, where he served from 1970 to 1990. Many of the dentists in the area will say that they learned everything they know from Dr. Louis LaVecchia.
I've been a patient of Dr. LaVecchia and his father Dr. Louis LaVecchia for almost 30 years. The care they have provided me is beyond compare. Any time I've called with a dental emergency they've taken care of me the same day. The hygienists are thorough and kind. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Dr Greg is great about answering any question I might have and he takes care to explain things in layman's terms. The whole team is just fantastic. You just can't do better.

His many honors include election as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the Academy of General Dentistry, and election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon (the National Dental Honor Fraternity). Dr. LaVecchia is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the District of Columbia Dental Society.
